Reminders
Ask Brea to remind you, and it sends you a message at that time. For example:
- “Remind me in 20 minutes to take the laundry out.”
- “Remind me tomorrow at 9am to call the dentist.”
- “Remind me every 2 hours to drink water.”
Brea writes the reminder message when you set it. At the set time, Brea sends that exact message.
Your time zone
Section titled “Your time zone”A reminder like “in 20 minutes” always works. For a clock time like “at 9am”, Brea needs your time zone. If it doesn’t know it, it asks you first.
See and cancel reminders
Section titled “See and cancel reminders”- To see your reminders, ask “What reminders do I have?”
- To cancel one, tell Brea which one, like “Cancel the laundry reminder.”
Repeating reminders
Section titled “Repeating reminders”A repeating reminder repeats at a fixed interval, like every 2 hours or every 24 hours. When the clocks change for daylight saving time, it moves by one hour.
For something at the same clock time every day, or on certain days, ask for a schedule instead, like “Every Monday at 8am, remind me to water the plants.” Brea makes a goal with a schedule, which keeps the same local time.
If Brea misses a repeat, it skips it. It doesn’t send several old reminders at once.
Limits
Section titled “Limits”- You can have up to 50 reminders at a time.
- A reminder can be up to one year away.
- Repeating reminders must be at least 5 minutes apart.
