Connect an integration
Connect an app
Section titled “Connect an app”- Open Integrations in your dashboard.
- Find the app you want and click its card. See Find the app you want if it isn’t on screen.
- You are taken to a sign-in page for that app. This opens in the same tab, so you leave the dashboard for a moment.
- Sign in and approve access. Some apps ask for an API key, a token, or a username and password instead. Enter it there.
- You are sent back to the dashboard. The card says Connecting for a few seconds while Brea checks the connection, then moves to Connected.
You never type passwords or keys into Brea itself, and Brea never asks you for them in chat.
If the card is still spinning after about 40 seconds, a message tells you to refresh the page. Refresh and check again.
The account name on the card
Section titled “The account name on the card”The connected card usually says “Connected account” instead of your email address. That’s normal. Not every app tells Brea which account was linked.
Starter plan limit
Section titled “Starter plan limit”The Starter plan includes up to 3 integrations. A banner at the top of the page shows how many you have used.
Once you hit the limit, the remaining cards say Upgrade to connect. Click Upgrade plan in the banner to move to Pro, or disconnect an app you no longer use.
Reconnecting an app you already have never counts against the limit.
Reconnect an app
Section titled “Reconnect an app”If an app stops working, click Manage on its card, then Reconnect, and sign in again. It is the same steps as connecting for the first time.
Disconnect an app
Section titled “Disconnect an app”- On the connected card, click Manage, then Disconnect.
- Confirm.
Brea loses access straight away. Disconnecting also removes Brea’s permission inside the app itself, not just her copy of it.
Automations that use the app aren’t deleted or paused. They keep running on their schedule, but they can no longer react to things as they happen, and some of them won’t be able to finish their job. The next time one runs, Brea messages you asking you to reconnect.
You can reconnect at any time, and your automations start working again on their own.
