Saved logins
When a browser task needs your account on a website, Brea uses a login you saved for that site. You save logins on a secure Brea page, never in a text.
Save a login
Section titled “Save a login”When Brea needs a login, it texts you a link. The link preview says “Add password to Brea Vault”.
- Open the link. If you’re asked, sign in to your Brea account.
- Enter your Username or email and Password for the site.
- Click Save login.
The page says “Saved for” and the site name. Brea then goes on with the task.
Each link works once and expires after 30 minutes. If the page says “This link cannot be used”, ask Brea to send you a new one.
Never send a password in a text. If you do, Brea doesn’t save it and asks you to use the link.
How your logins are protected
Section titled “How your logins are protected”- Logins are encrypted.
- A login is used only on the site you saved it for. Before Brea’s browser types it, it checks that the page is on that site.
- Brea’s AI never sees your username or password.
- No one, including Brea and the people at Brea, can show your password to you or anyone else.
See and change your saved logins
Section titled “See and change your saved logins”Open Secrets vault in your settings. Each login shows the site, the username, when you added it, and when Brea last used it. Passwords are never shown.
To change a login:
- Click Update.
- Enter a new username, a new password, or both. Leave a field blank to keep it.
- Click Save.
To delete a login, click Delete and confirm. Brea can’t sign in to that site with it after that.
Deleting a saved login doesn’t sign Brea’s browser out of the site. To end that session too, ask Brea to sign out of the site, or sign out of all devices in the site’s own security settings.
If sign-in fails
Section titled “If sign-in fails”- “The browser could not complete sign-in.” The saved login may be wrong. Update it in Secrets vault, then ask Brea to try again.
- “The site refused the automated sign-in.” The site blocks sign-ins from automated browsers. Your saved login is not the problem, and changing it doesn’t help.
