Where results are sent
Every setup form has a Send me the results section. That’s where you choose which app Brea messages you in when an automation has something to report.
Pick a destination
Section titled “Pick a destination”If Brea can only reach you in one place, she tells you which one and there’s nothing to choose. You’ll see a line like “Sent to Telegram ending 4821.”
If she can reach you in more than one place, pick one from the list. Each option is named by app and the last four characters of the address, like “Telegram ending 4821” or “iMessage ending 0199”. The app you messaged her from most recently is at the top.
To change it later, open the automation under Yours and click Reconfigure.
“Brea has nowhere to send results yet”
Section titled ““Brea has nowhere to send results yet””This means you haven’t messaged Brea from any app she can reply to.
Message her on Telegram, Slack, WhatsApp, or iMessage first, then come back and turn the automation on. See Messaging Apps to get set up.
Turn results off
Section titled “Turn results off”Uncheck Send me the results if you don’t want to be messaged.
The automation still runs and still does its work. It will still file your documents, label your mail, or update your tasks. It just won’t message you about it.
Quiet runs are normal
Section titled “Quiet runs are normal”Brea only messages you when there’s something worth saying. If a run finds nothing new, she stays quiet.
You won’t get “all clear” messages. Silence usually means everything is fine. To confirm an automation is running, see Check if an automation is working.
Results go to a messaging app
Section titled “Results go to a messaging app”Automation results are sent to Telegram, Slack, WhatsApp, or iMessage. Brea doesn’t email them to you.
