A browser task failed

When a browser task stops before it finishes, Brea tells you why. Find the message below.

If the task saved files before it stopped, Brea tells you what it saved and what is missing.

  • “The site refused the automated sign-in.” The site blocks sign-ins from automated browsers. Brea can’t get past this, and changing your saved login doesn’t help.
  • “The browser could not complete sign-in. I don’t have a verified account result.” The saved login may be wrong. Update it in Secrets vault in your settings, then ask Brea to try again.
  • “The browser session expired while waiting for the saved sign-in.” You didn’t save the login in time. Ask Brea to try again, and save the login when Brea sends the link.
  • “The verification-code request expired before the browser could finish. Please retry the browser task.” Brea waits 5 minutes for a code. Ask Brea to try again, and reply with the code when it asks.
  • “The browser could not complete the site’s human-verification challenge.” The site showed an “Are you human?” check that Brea couldn’t pass. Try again later, or do the task yourself.
  • “The site tried to send the browser outside the allowed websites, so I stopped.” The site went to a website that wasn’t in the task. Ask again and name the other website too.
  • “The site moved the browser to a different tab, which Brea’s browser cannot follow.” Brea’s browser can’t use a new tab. Do this step yourself.
  • “The browser task ran out of time before I could verify the result.” The task took too long. Ask for a smaller task, or split it into steps.
  • “The browser task stopped without making enough progress. I don’t have a verified result.” Brea got stuck on the page. Ask again with clearer steps, like the page or menu to use.
  • “The browser stopped on the page below. It may not show everything the request asked for.” Brea sends what it found. Check it, and ask again for what is missing.
  • “The browser service is busy, so I couldn’t start the task within its time limit.” Try again in a few minutes.
  • “The browser session was interrupted before I could verify the result.” or “The browser’s decision service was unavailable, so the task stopped without a verified result.” Try again.
  • “I couldn’t confirm the last browser action, so I stopped rather than repeat it.” Brea can’t tell if the last step worked, so it didn’t do it again. Check the site to see if it happened before you ask again.
  • “I couldn’t confirm that the browser opened. I haven’t repeated the start request.” Ask Brea to try again.
  • “The browser could not enter the approved card, so it did not place the order.” No order was placed. Ask Brea to try again.
  • “The browser task stopped because a purchase run can only make the purchase approved in Link.” During a checkout, Brea can only make the purchase you approved. Ask for other changes in a separate task.

“The browser task could not finish. I don’t have a verified result.” Brea doesn’t know why the task stopped. Ask Brea to try again. If it fails again, contact support and say which website and task it was.
